B.S.O. SYNOPSIS

On B.S.O., Emilio Aragón revisits the music that has marked the most important moments in his guests’ lives. Featuring live video clips, live musical performances, and innovative choreography to surprise them with the soundtrack of their lives.

B.S.O. intertwines music and conversation in a natural way, accompanied by screenings, choreography, detailed artwork, and a cinematographic production.

The undisputed star of the show in each of the eight episodes is the music. 

 

Emilio Aragón directs and presents this musical entertainment show that pays tribute to its main guest, through the songs that make up the soundtrack of his life. Raphael, Los Javis, Belén Rueda or Joaquín (soccer player) will be some of the protagonists. In each program, one of them will be interviewed by Emilio, who in turn will give way to unique performances, interpreted in very different ways by guest artists. Each program will represent the universe of the honoree, with a scenography according to his personality, with choreographies, visual effects and a fixed band, which will accompany the musical interpretations.

B.S.O. with Emilio Aragón EPISODE 1: Los Javis

Synopsis.

Emilio Aragón directs and presents this musical entertainment show that pays tribute to Los Javis, through the songs that make up the soundtrack of his life. They will be interviewed by Emilio, who in turn will give way to unique performances, interpreted in very different ways by guest artists such as Bely Basarte, Ana Guerra, Victor Martín, The Parrots and Macarena García, Teo Cardalda and La Bien Querida, and an adaptation of the musical The Book of Mormon, which they will perform: Silvia Abril, Patricia Conde, Canco Rodríguez, Julián López and Emilio Aragón himself. Each program will represent the universe of the honoree, with a scenography according to his personality, with choreographies, visual effects and a fixed band, which will accompany the musical interpretations. Raphael, Los Belén Rueda or Joaquín (soccer player) will be other protagonists in future installments.

B.S.O. with Emilio Aragón EPISODE 2: Rafael

Synopsis.

Emilio Aragón directs and presents this musical entertainment show that pays tribute to Raphael, through the songs that make up the soundtrack of his life. He will be interviewed by Emilio reviewing his 60 years of career, which he celebrates this year, and giving way to his favorite songs, masterfully interpreted by guest artists such as Miss Caffeina, Natalia Lacunza, Ede and Josemi Carmona, Silvia Pérez Cruz, Mikel Erentxun, Soléa and Farru. Each program will represent the universe of the honoree, with a scenography according to his personality, with choreographies, visual effects and a fixed band, which will accompany the musical interpretations.

B.S.O. with Emilio Aragón EPISODE 3: Joaquín

Synopsis

Emilio Aragón directs and presents this musical entertainment show that pays tribute to the soccer player Joaquín, through the songs that make up the soundtrack of his life. Joaquín tells Emilio about his childhood, his beginnings in soccer, anecdotes of his profession with his favorite songs as the backbone, which will be masterfully interpreted by guest artists such as Zenet, María José Llergo accompanied by Josemi Carmona, Andrés Suaréz and Marino Saiz, Los Secretos, Rebeca Jiménez, Alejo Stivel, and Kiko Veneno. Each program will represent the universe of the honoree, with a scenography according to his personality, with choreographies, visual effects and a fixed band, which will accompany the musical interpretations.

B.S.O. with Emilio Aragón EPISODIO 4: Belén Rueda

Synopsis.

Emilio Aragón directs and presents this musical entertainment show that pays tribute to the actress Belén Rueda, through the songs that make up the Soundtrack of her life. Belén Rueda will review her career, but she will also show her more personal side: she will recall her car trips with her parents, her passion for dancing, her first international trips, her television experience and her successful incursion into cinema, and she will recall her great professional moment, when in 2005 she won the Goya award for best new actress.

Carlos Núñez and Xurxo Núñez, Bebe, Cristian de Moret, La Mari (Chambao), Garret Wall, Llibert Fortuny and Emilio Aragón himself, will be the artists who will provide the instruments and voice to this emotional journey through the songs that are part of his vital soundtrack.

There will also be references to dance, so important in Belén Rueda’s life. Each program will represent the universe of the honoree, with a scenography according to his personality, with choreography, visual effects and a fixed band, which will accompany the musical interpretations.

B.S.O. with Emilio Aragón EPISODE 5 : Antonio Banderas

Synopsis

Emilio Aragón receives on the set of B.S.O. the great international star, Antonio Banderas.

The actor and director will review his personal and professional career through the songs of his life. He will remember his first steps in the USA, his artistic awakening with the theater, the sound of that train in which he left Malaga, to return being who he wanted to be, when he met Almodóvar, his experience as a director, that great night of the Oscars in 1994, which meant so much to him and the most recent Dolor y Gloria.

They will talk about all these topics and the songs that were important in each of those moments. Performing these songs will be Dani Martín, Coque Malla, Sharon Corr (The Corrs), Travis Birds and Vanesa Martin, accompanied by the dancing of Sara Baras.

In addition, Antonio is bringing the entire company of the Soho Theater in Malaga to perform the main theme of A Chorus Line and to accompany him in the theme Being Alive, which he performs himself, he is accompanied by the Pop Symphony of the Soho Theater.

With this gesture, Antonio wants to give value to so many theater and musical workers, who have been so affected in these times of pandemic, in which they have not been able to work.

Banderas will recount his terrible episode when he suffered a heart attack in 2017, which was a turning point for him and has made him return to his Malaga, where he has settled to carry out his life project, the Soho Theater and make his city a cultural Malaga.

As always, the finishing touch will be put by Bebo San Juan, this time performing with his guest, the theme I love you, Guajira, where Antonio dares to sing and improvise some verses.
