The Extremadura Orchestra (OEX) joins Emilio Aragón for the premiere of his new show, Once Upon an Orchestra, aiming to bring music to all audiences as a powerful form of cultural expression.

Once Upon an Orchestra takes us on a journey through the different families of the orchestra, featuring Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker suite and two symphonic tales: The Biggest Flower in the World and The Steadfast Tin Soldier—written by José Saramago and Hans Christian Andersen, respectively. Both feature original music by Emilio Aragón and narration by actress Alejandra Jaquotot, who is also a member of the Aragón family of artists.

This performance seeks to entertain while presenting music as a beacon of hope for a better world—one where love and respect lead the way. A heartwarming and moving experience for the whole family.
