“Godspell”, the Broadway classic returns in the hands of Antonio Banderas and Emilio Aragón: the most anticipated musical of the season opens at the Soho Theater in Malaga.
Godspell’ is produced by Antonio Banderas and Emilio Aragón for Soho Theatre and Estudio Caribe. Originally conceived and directed by John-Michael Tebelak, with music and new lyrics by Stephen Schwartz and under the direction of Emilio Aragón. A musical theater classic of the 1970s.
Antonio Banderas and Emilio Aragón define as “the beginning of a beautiful friendship” their association to co-produce “Godspell”, a musical that, according to the actor from Malaga, “is not a religious play”, since “it recovers the principles of Christianity, but in an almost secular way”.
They have presented this Monday a preview of the show that will premiere on November 3 at the Soho Theater in Malaga, an adaptation of the Broadway classic originally created by John-Michael Tebelak and Stephen Schwartz.
